For example, this logo below of a Bison (also spelling Bison) I think is absolutely amazing!
The font type is really attractive and its clear what the image is, as well as what it is saying.
Possibly my favourite logo however is this one, 'Eight' - with the word being made up entirely of the number 8, but cut in places so they can represent the letters they need to.
I think its an incredible idea and is a very attractive design. The fact that at first glance it is not immediately clear what the word is I think works better in making the viewer look at it longer and harder to see exactly what the logo depicts.
Time for some colour, with the form of 'B'.
This logo shows a Bee with black outlines to show the stripes and a golden, yellow background which makes up the colour of the insect. The letter B can also be seen in the wings, making the whole image a very attractive and eye catching logo.
I really like how bold the bee appears with sharp, black lines contrasting very well against the coloured background.
Here are some more logos that I thought really stood out.
'Piano Forest' creates a really clever logo and I think is very obvious immediately what they have done.
The trees were the first image I saw when looking at it which is perhaps ironic as the first word of the logo is piano.
'Hope for African Children Initiative' is another great logo. The first thing I saw was the outline of Africa made up of white between the two colours. On closer inspection though it can be seen that a child's face on the left, looks up to an adult figure on the right.
'Museum of London' appears quite a simple logo at first and consists of some vivid colours, but the shapes behind the text in fact represents the settlement of London as it has grown over hundreds of years!
'minimum' is perhaps the hardest time I've spent reading a logo! With all the curves and consistent colour it is very difficult to see immediately what it says. Designed by Kliment Kalchev - check him out! http://www.kliment.be/
'5.10' is another favourite of mine, showing the number 5 fairly clearly on its side, but if you tilt your head the other way, the number 1.0 can be seen.
